Busy bees 🐝

We drove out to the island on Saturday morning and drove back to the city Sunday night. On Saturday, Donna and Beth and her boys came over, and it's always good to see their faces! Dilara and Nehir and me and Ceylin went for a bike ride down to the school and we played on the playground for a bit. Dilara had a hard time with her energy level, she's not really eating and she had to stop many times there and back. Aden came over and sat with Dilara for a little while and had some of Babannes potato pie. Dilara didn't like it so she had butter and jelly instead. She requested baked potatoes for dinner and luckily likes the carrot salad Anne makes! Murat came by for dinner and then for breakfast on Sunday.

Dilara made green cupcakes for St Pattys Day. Dilara was able to play at Lila's for a bit, they rode on their bikes for a little while. I'm thankful. We went to my dad and GiGis house to go on their swingset and say hello for a little while. Despite me being so tired, I have to fight to be able to have the girls enjoy their childhood. Shani and Natalie and Sadie came to say hello. Dilara and Ceylin were happy. RiRi came by and gave hugs and a great birthday gift for me. Mom and Dawn and Nonna came over and Dilara made some

tea and catered to the ladies. She loves to entertain. She served watermelon and some other snacks.

After mom and Nonna left, Dilara cut Dawnie's hair... a little bit too short! But again, this made her very happy.

Cenk has been doing so much at the house this past week, cleaned up the yard and detailed both cars. He listed the boat for sale and cleaned it up also. He let Dilara shave his head! It's starting to get difficult for all of us. We miss each other and stress levels are high. Throughout the days there is laughter and frustrations but this is what keeps us going... not to mention the army that we have behind us. We are very thankful for FaceTime!
